There are three characters included in the package. You’ll be provided with a super hero Green Lantern by the name of Hal Jordan. There are also evil characters included by the name of Kilowog and his animal companion B’DG the squirrel.

The Kilowog figurine can also be placed on a separate disc which will aim a launcher. Your child actually has the ability to fire the launcher too. The planet is also equipped with a space tether that can be attached to any of the figures.

The Imaginext DC Super Friends Green Lantern Planet is also packaged with a DC Super Friends DVD. Whenever your child isn’t playing with the toy, he may want to watch the Super Friends episode featured on the DVD. The disc also showcases a wide range of toys that your child may be interested in.
Parents will love how interactive the Green Lantern Planet is. Kids can open and close doors by placing the Green Lantern on the special disc or aim an active rocket launcher using the other figure. Your child will have a lot of fun using his or her imagination to come up with different scenarios for the figures to act out.

The Imaginext DC Super Friends Green Lantern Planet even comes with a DVD included in the package for your child to watch Super Friends. However, you may want to take the DVD out after the episode is over. Your child will likely want all of the toys that are showcased on the DVD.
Another potential problem you may have with the playset is that it comes with the Hal Jordan figure. If you have already invested in another playset such as the Green Lantern Jet toy, then you will already have this figure instead of being able to add one of the other green lanterns to your collection like John Stewart.
This won’t be an issue if you’re not looking to enhance a collection though. Your child will love the toy regardless anyway.
